    On April 13, Beijing Chemical Industry Research Institute's "CM catalyst technology development and industrial application" and "complex magnesium alkoxide carrier and series of high-performance polypropylene catalyst development" two technologies passed the appraisal of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Sinopec Group


    The "CM Catalyst Technology Development and Industrial Application" project jointly completed by Beihua Institute, Yanshan Petrochemical and Catalyst Company solved the problem of easy yellowing in the production of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) by improving catalysts and processes


    In addition, the composite magnesium alkoxide carrier and 5 high-performance polypropylene catalysts with different compositions and uses independently developed by Beihua Institute were successfully applied to the Horizone process and Unipol process polypropylene units to produce impact copolymer polypropylene with high rubber phase content.


    In the next step, Beihua Institute will continue to give full play to the advantages of the complete R&D innovation chain, strengthen the cooperation of "industry-university-research", and accelerate the R&D and industrial application promotion of high-performance polyolefin catalysts
