The award and subsidy funds support two aspects: one is the key "little giant" enterprises; the other is the public service demonstration platform.
According to the "Notice", the award and subsidy funds are mainly used to support enterprises to increase investment in innovation, accelerate the industrial application of technological achievements, and promote the "four bases" of industry or the ten key industries with a clear strategy of manufacturing power to "make up for shortcomings" and " Forged long plates".
In addition, it also supports public service demonstration platforms to provide national-level specialized and new "little giant" enterprises with technological innovation, listing guidance, transformation and application of innovation achievements, digital and intelligent transformation, intellectual property applications, cloud use and industrial design, etc.
It is reported that from 2021 to 2025, the central government has allocated a total of more than 10 billion yuan in rewards and subsidies to guide local governments to improve support policies and public service systems.
Three batches (each batch not exceeding three years) will focus on supporting more than 1,000 state-level specialists.
The high-quality development of the new “little giant” enterprises promotes these enterprises to play an exemplary role, and strengthens the service level by supporting some national (or provincial) public service demonstration platforms for small and medium-sized enterprises, and gathers resources such as capital, talents and technology to drive 10,000 enterprises This will allow small and medium-sized enterprises to grow into national-level specialized and new "little giant" enterprises.
