Ukraine will export 17.2 million tons of wheat in 2020/2021, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture, the Ukrainian news agency reported on August 11.
"I held a weekly meeting with the trade association, where representatives of the association presented their judgment on the grain market, and expected to export 17.2 million tons of wheat in 2020/21, with a transition balance of 1.7 million tons," said Vice Minister Vysotsky.
2.52 million tons of grain and beans exported from the 2020/2021 sales year (from July 1) to August 3, a decrease of 36.3% from the previous sales year.
, 1.26 million tonnes of wheat were exported (a decrease of 11.2 per cent).
Ukraine exported 20.5 million tons of wheat in the 2019/20 sales year (July 2019-June 2020).
