    Unisun Energy officially started construction of photovoltaic projects in Hungary

    Recently, China-based Unisun Energy Group has begun the first phase of ground-mounted PV projects in Tiszaszolos, Hungary, with an initial installed capacity of 11.

    The project has been approved
    by the Hungarian feed-in tariff scheme KAT.

    While Unisun Energy's solar facility in Hungary has an initial installed capacity of 11.
    6MW, at least 50MW additional installed capacity
    is planned in the later stages of installation.

    The site is located in the Great Plain region of central central Hungary, providing plenty of sunlight
    for its installation.
    Once completed, the installation is expected to generate more than 750 MWh of electricity
    per year.

    Hungary's PV capacity has increased significantly to 129 MW since 2015, and installed capacity is expected to continue to grow by an average of 59 MW
    per year.

    The Chairman of Unisun Energy said: "With the recovery of the European solar market, Hungary, as one of the main solar markets in the EU, undoubtedly has great growth potential

    Going forward, Unisun Energy plans to actively develop renewable energy projects
