    Univergy will develop a 15MW solar project in South Korea

    Recently, Univergy International said it is developing a 15MW solar project
    in Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea.

     

    Univergy recently opened a new office in Seoul and has set a target
    of 6.
    38 billion kilowatts of renewable energy generation by 2030.
    Univergy has also set a goal
    of developing 300 MW of renewable energy projects in the country in 2018.

    Yago Acón, Executive Director of Project Development Southeast Asia and Executive Director of Univergy EU, said: "We have been working in Korea since the end of 2017 because we see a great opportunity
    for foreign companies specializing in renewable energy development.
    We plan to deliver the project
    in the first quarter of 2019.

    It is understood that by 2030, the South Korean government will use 20% of renewable energy power generation for power generation

    1GW in 2017 and will increase to 63.
