    Washington, September 28: The National Crop Progress Weekly Report released by the US Department of Agriculture showed that the US corn harvest last week advanced by 8%

    In the 18 states that account for 92% of the national corn sown area, as of September 26 (Sunday), the proportion of US corn entering the dent period was 97%, last week 93%, last year 98%, and the five-year average 94 %
    .
     
    The proportion of mature corn was 74%, 57% a week ago, 73% in the same period last year, and a five-year average of 64%
    .
     
    The corn harvest progress reached 18%, 10% last week, 14% in the same period last year, and an average of 15% in the past five years
    .
    Illinois gained 21% (11% last week), Indiana gained 15% (9% last week), and Iowa gained 9% (4% last week)
    .

     
    The percentage of US corn with excellent ratings was 59%, 59% a week ago, and 61% in the same period last year
    .
     
    Among them, 14% have excellent ratings, 45% good, 26% generally, 10% poor, and 5% poor
    .
    For comparison, last week’s rating was 14% excellent, good 45%, average 26%, bad 10%, and bad 5%
    .
