    Wheat provides the staple food for the global population, and the increase in wheat production can alleviate the food crisis brought about by population growth


     

    Zuo Jianru's research group, Gao Caixia's research group, Li Junming's research group, and Wang Tao's research group of Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences cooperated to use genome editing technology to analyze the homologous genes of ARE1 gene in wheat.
