    Recently, India's energy minister announced that the government of Uttar Pradesh plans to build about 6,000 solar power plants in the next five years to achieve its clean energy target
    of 10,700 megawatts.

    He added, "We have decided to install about 6,000 solar power stations in the state and make full use of solar energy
    through solar rooftops.
    I am sure that the interest shown by stakeholders will definitely help the sector become the number one in
    all of India.

    He stressed that Uttar Pradesh has 22,300 MW of solar power and that the country intends to utilize the 10,700 MW solar power target
    set by the United Nations Department of New and Renewable Energy.

    The minister said the solar panels are designed to provide uninterrupted clean energy electricity for 25 years and called on people to buy such panels to enjoy uninterrupted power
    from their homes.
