Agrochemical Network Chinese Net reported: Recently, Valent BioSciences LLC announced that it has registered a new plant growth regulator (PGR) with the U.
    S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA ), which will be marketed under the Acced e ™ brand, containing active ingredients 1- Aminocyclopropane - 1-carboxylic acid (ACC) .

Accede is the first PGR based on natural compounds, specially developed for stone fruit thinning including peaches and nectarines
    .
In addition, it also provides an effective tool for apple growers to thin the apples when the diameter of the fruit reaches 15-20 mm
    .
So far, at this stage of growth, there is no fruit thinner that can provide effective fruit thinning
    .
Therefore, the use of Accede will reduce the need for expensive artificial fruit thinning to manage fruit load and produce higher quality fruit
    .

    ACC naturally exists in plants
    .
Once applied to fruit trees, the active ingredients in Accede are quickly converted into ethylene through the plant's natural biochemical pathways
    .
The ethylene produced after applying Accede will stimulate and accelerate the thinning of apples and stone fruits
    .

In addition, Accede decomposes rapidly in the plant body, and no ACC remains during harvest
    .
The product was classified as a biochemical product by the EPA in 2015, and the technology in Accede has a number of patents
    .

      Dr.
Warren Shafer, vice president of global R&D and regulatory affairs at Valent BioSciences, said that this plant growth regulator will change the way fruit growers manage the load of fruit trees
    .
Accede's registration in the United States is the result of more than ten years of joint research and development by Valent BioSciences, Valent America and Sumitomo Chemical
