    Nguyen Du Anjun, Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, said that Vietnam and the United States have great potential for cooperation and trade space.
    In particular, the agricultural products of the two countries are highly complementary, non-competitive and non-substitutable

    The two countries can promote scientific and technological cooperation and technology transfer between scientific research institutions and enterprises, and are committed to promoting green, sustainable, and low-emission agricultural development
    .
     
      USGC President Ryan Legrand stated that the United States and Vietnam have formulated a plan to achieve a harmonious and sustainable trade balance, which includes many specific measures in the agricultural sector
    .
    According to Legrand, ethanol fuel helps to achieve a trade balance between the two sides, because Vietnam is a potential customer of the United States
    .
     
      According to the memorandum of understanding, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam and the USGC will establish a technical cooperation relationship in the fields of feed, biofuel production and use in Vietnam, and enhance mutual understanding of relevant policies and regulations in accordance with Vietnam’s laws, regulations, policies and development goals

      In addition, USCG will help Vietnam improve the capabilities of managers, importers, and feed processing companies in order to acquire new technologies and new trade, as well as new skills in organizing production management
    .
    USCG will also provide COVID-19 detection kits and COVID-19 treatment drugs for Vietnamese animal husbandry companies
