    Vietnam promotes sapodilla to Australian consumers

    (NDO) The Consulate General of Vietnam in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia and the Vietnamese Commercial Office in Australia jointly held a promotion conference on Vietnamese agricultural products on April 30 , especially to introduce frozen hearts to consumers in the "land of kangaroos" fruit products .
    The event also marked the first time a large volume of frozen sapodillas has officially entered the Australian market .

    Vietnam's consul general in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia, Nguyen Dang Thanh, said that as the COVID-19 epidemic is brought under control, trade between the two countries has gradually resumed, and the development momentum is very good
    .
     
    Statistics show that in the first quarter of 2022, Vietnam's agricultural exports to Australia increased by more than 30% year-on-year
    .
    In 2021, the total import and export volume of the two countries will also increase significantly, exceeding 12.

      Local residents who visited the Vietnam booth expressed interest when they tasted the sapodilla and some other Vietnamese fruits and foods

    Parker was amazed by the deliciousness and sweetness of Vietnamese sapodillas
    .
    She said it was the first time she had tasted the fruit, and the sapodilla was sure to be on her shopping list
    .
     
      Sara James, who came to Vietnam six years ago, said Vietnamese cuisine is probably one of the richest and most appealing in the world
    .
    She likes durians, lychees, mangoes, and of course Vietnamese sapodillas
    .
     
      Nguyen Phu Hoa, head of Vietnam’s Commercial Office in Australia, said that Vietnamese companies have initially successfully diversified agricultural products exported to the Australian market
    .
    Recently, a batch of 13 tons of frozen sapodillas imported by Vinrec has been sold in the Australian market
    .
    Nguyen Phu Hoa expressed confidence that the sapodillas of Vietnam will gain a firm foothold in one of the most demanding markets in the world
