    Speaking at the meeting, Tursilan Silavath, Minister of Fisheries of Madhya Pradesh of India, said the state was implementing a new fisheries policy aimed at promoting fish production, expanding fisheries exports and improving the quality of life of
    fishermen.
    He noted that the state government is striving to increase fish production from 20,000 tonnes this year to 30,000 tonnes
    next year.
