    At the beginning of the purple milk fruit harvest season, farmers in Xuefu Township, Choce County, Soo Trang Province, Vietnam, have received good news
    that purple milk fruit has not only received a bumper harvest, but also exported to the US market at a high price.
     
    At present, 23 farmers in the Lumai Agricultural Cooperative of Xianfu Township in Jice County grow purple milk fruits, and it is expected that the output of purple milk fruits this year will be 1,000-1,200 tons
    .
    Therefore, the cooperative has signed an underwriting contract with the enterprise to purchase milk nuts at VND 30,000 per kilogram, which is VND 10,000 to VND
    15,000 higher than the domestic market price.
    Since the beginning of the harvest season, nearly 20 tons of purple milk fruit have been harvested and exported to the US market

    In addition, the cooperative supplies purple milk fruits
    to supermarkets and green food stores in the provinces of Can Tho, Dong Ta and Qianjiang.
     
    Shi Guolu, director of the Zhice County Xianfu Township Lumai Agricultural Cooperative, said that since the beginning of 2022, the cooperative has exported more than 154 tons of milk fruits

    Up to now, the milk fruit planting area in Jice County, Shuozhuang Province has exceeded 2,145 hectares, of which 3 cooperatives have underwritten cooperation, accounting for more than
    40% of the planted area.
    By the end of 2022, the area of fruit trees in Shuozhuang Province will reach more than 28,500 hectares, of which Jice County has the largest planting area of more than 18,000 hectares

    The province has planned 20 growing areas that meet organic production standards and Vietnam Good Agricultural Practice (VietGap) standards to meet the demand
    for high-end markets such as the United States and Europe.
