Vietnam's "Vietnam News Network" reported on January 12 that the People's Committee of Lang Son Province, Vietnam said that from January 17 to the Spring Festival, Vietnam's Lang Son Province will stop receiving Vietnamese agricultural products exported to China .
This is to clear more than 1,500 trucks that are still piling up at border crossings before the Spring Festival to avoid increasing storage and yard costs for businesses and traders .

Affected by the epidemic, there are currently only 3 border crossings in Vietnam's Lang Son Province: Friendship, Chima and Dong Dang Railway Station
    .
The customs clearance capacity averages 80-100 vehicles per day, 70% of which are agricultural products and fruits
    .

As of January 11, there were still 1,721 trucks in the Lang Son port, of which 749 were transporting fruits
    .
By the morning of January 12, there were still 1,548 trucks at the three ports of Friendship, Xinqing and Zhima, nearly half of which were carrying fruit
    .
Lang Son estimated that it would take about half a month for this shipment to clear customs at the border port
    .

Last week Lang Son province had advised localities and growing areas not to continue shipping goods to border crossings
    .
But in fact, more than 100 trucks still arrive every day
    .

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh of the Vietnamese government requested at a meeting to solve the difficulties of agricultural products that Lang Son and Quang Ninh advised all parties not to continue to transport goods to the border ports, and stop receiving goods if there are still trucks going to the border
    .
All ministries, commissions and local governments are required to intervene and strive to clear all the backlogs of goods at border ports before the Spring Festival in 2022
