Vietnamese media believe that China will open up Cambodian mango imports to compete with Vietnamese mangoes

Therefore, the pressure on the export of Vietnamese mangoes to the Chinese market will increase in the future.

 

　　Since the beginning of 2018, the Ministry of Agriculture of Cambodia and the General Administration of Customs of China have conducted multiple rounds of negotiations on mango exports to China.
After more than three years of negotiations, on April 26, 2021, the General Administration of Customs of China formally agreed that 37 mango plantation companies and 5 mango packaging companies in Cambodia meet the qualifications for exporting mangoes to China.
This is the second Cambodian fruit allowed to be exported to China after bananas.
