    China’s requirement is that sweet potato planting areas and product packaging units must undergo inspections and take technical measures to ensure that sweet potatoes are not affected by 10 Kind of pollution from harmful organisms.
     
    Today, the Plant Protection Bureau will contact the sweet potato producing areas such as Yonglong, Dele, Duonong and carry out related technical matters, and is committed to improving the technical files and sending them to China.
     
    Regarding chili products, Nguyen Thi Thu Hsiang said that starting from 2020, China has requested Vietnam to suspend exports of this product.
    After Vietnam submitted relevant files to China, the General Administration of Customs of China has agreed to allow Vietnam to temporarily re-export chili to China while waiting for China to conduct a pest risk analysis.
     
    On the other hand, Nguyen Thi Thu Hsiang said that Malaysia will allow Vietnam to re-export chili to the country after a two-year suspension.
    The conditions in Malaysia are that pepper planting areas must obtain a code from the Plant Protection Agency and monitor the entire process from pepper planting to packaging.
