    Vietnam's coffee exports from Gia Lai province increased by nearly 30% year-on-year

    likely to exceed the set plan targets.
     
    According to the evaluation of the representative of the Industry and Trade Department of Jialai Province, the supply is abundant, the export price has increased by about 20% year-on-year, the consumer demand in major markets such as the European Union and the United States has increased, the flow of people and trade under the new normal is more convenient, and the positive impact of various free trade agreements such as the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the Vietnam-UK Free Trade Agreement (EKVFTA) are the engines
    driving the strong growth of coffee exports.
     
    At present, there are 5 coffee export enterprises in Jialai Province, which have made a major contribution
    to the export value of the province.
    The coffee export output of all enterprises increased
    strongly year-on-year.
     
    At present, the coffee planting area of Jialai province is nearly 100,000 hectares, with an average yield of 2.
    94 tons per hectare and an annual output of 257,840 tons, of which the certified coffee planting area is about 36,000 hectares

    According to experts, the adoption of standards such as the 4Cs, Rainforest Alliance, and Organic in coffee production will help improve the quality of coffee products in the province, resulting in highly competitive products for entering demanding markets
