Vietnam's lobster exports to China remain normal under the influence of the epidemic

According to Vietnam, "Agricultural News" reported on May 31, although affected by the epidemic, China and Vietnam export lobster remained normal, price stability, farming households and exporters are profitable.
The southern Khanh Hoa province is one of the main lobster breeding bases in Vietnam.
The person in charge of the Fisheries Bureau of Khanh Hoa Province stated that there are 40,000 cages used for lobster breeding in the province, with an annual output of more than 1,300 tons of various types of lobster, which are mainly sold to China.
Under the influence of the epidemic, both Vietnam and China have strengthened prevention and control, but did not intervene too much in the import and export of goods, and the production of Vietnamese lobsters is moderate, and the Chinese demand is stable, so exports remain normal.
In the future, farmers will be further guided to adopt scientific breeding methods to achieve traceability of products, and establish cooperative groups or cooperatives to form a complete industrial chain from input to output.
The local farmers said that the sellers bought them on site at a reasonable price, and the farmers made money to make up for their losses in 2020.
