Vietnam’s “Labor Daily” reported on October 11 that, according to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), in the past week, Vietnam’s rice exports were 134,000 tons, an increase of 9.
    84% over the previous week
    .
Although the export volume of rice in the past week was lower than that of India and Thailand, the export price of rice in Vietnam was at a very good level: US$433-437/ton (5% broken rice), an increase of US$6/ton compared to the previous week; 403-407 USD/ton (255 broken rice)
    .
At the same time, the prices of 5% and 25% broken rice in Thailand are US$383-387/ton and US$373-377/ton respectively, which is 20 US dollars/ton lower than Vietnamese rice
    .

Since the beginning of the year, Vietnam has exported nearly 4.
    4 million tons of rice
    .
Although rice exports are facing difficulties due to many unfavorable factors, the rice industry is still one of the six dominant industries in Vietnam (wood, aquatic products, fruit, coffee, rubber, rice, and pepper)
    .

The export price of rice has risen again, causing the domestic rice market to "heat up"
    .
According to VFA, domestic rice prices have also risen again
    .
Specifically, NL IR 504 rice rose by 150 VND to 8000-8100 VND/kg; TP IR 504 rice rose slightly by 50 VND to 9,200 VND/kg; gold bran increased by 1200 VND to 7,400- 7,500 VND/kg
