Science and Technology Daily (Reporter Wu Changfeng) The reporter learned from the University of Science and Technology of China that Yao Xuebiao, Liu Xing, and Zang Jianye’s teams and collaborators have made important progress in cell renewal quality control research in the Key Laboratory of Cell Dynamics of the Ministry of Education and the School of Life Sciences.

The spindle is an important membraneless organelle that regulates the quality control of eukaryotic cell renewal.

TIP60 is an important acetyltransferase that regulates the stability of the eukaryotic cell genome and an important compartmentalization catalytic enzyme

In order to simulate the intervention effect of Helicobacter pylori-mediated abnormal crotonylation of EB1 on the renewal quality of gastric epithelial cells, the researchers established a TIP60 mutant gene knock-in mouse, and successfully obtained a visualization of three-dimensional gastric organoids, and carried out a real-time near-physiological state.

The results of this research clarify the quality control mechanism of the renewal process of gastric epithelial cells, and provide a unique targeted chemical biological technology strategy for the dynamic intervention of Helicobacter pylori-mediated inflammation-cancer transformation and pharmacology
