China Environmental Industry Association Waste Gas Purification Committee Secretary-General Zhai Zhengping recently held the 14th China International Environmental Protection Exhibition told reporters that the "key industries volatile organic pollutants emission reduction and control of the technical guidelines" (hereinafter referred to as the "Technical Guidelines") will be promulgated at the end of 2015.
Said, "Technical Guidelines" involving packaging, printing, petrochemical, artificial leather, coating and other 8 industries, to regulate and guide some of China's key industries and areas of VOCs (volatile organic pollutants) emission reduction and control work.

Said that drafting experts on VOCs emissions of large packaging, printing and other eight key industries of the current situation of emissions, production processes and their reprocessing means and techniques to fully analyze, put forward recommended technologies and processes, and finally formed the "Technical Guide."
he explained that VOCs are currently only in key industries to reduce emissions and control, set emission standards, regulate their emission reduction technologies and processes, do not carry out total emission reduction and total control. Because VOCs have hundreds of kinds, its characteristics are not the same, involving many industries, complex processes, it is difficult to figure out the total voCs emissions nationwide.
Zhengping suggested that the overall control idea of VOCs in China is to control key pollution sources and control VOCs in key industries and key parks. On this basis, the control of cities, regions and the country's VOCs, and ultimately achieve the total national VOCs emission reduction.
