WACKER develops eco-friendly adhesives with partners

WACKER recently announced that it will work with DYNAPLAK of the Netherlands to develop a mixture of starch and polymer-based adhesive products. The first products for interior wall coatings are scheduled to hit the market in the first quarter of 2019, in line with the growing demand for environmentally friendly substings in the coatings industry.

it is understood that DYNAPLAK has mastered biotechnology, WACKER has extensive experience in the field of polymer binding agent production, the two sides will be potato processing residue starch as raw materials for the development of environmentally friendly binds, and in DYNAPLAK's production base in Fentan, the Netherlands. WACKER intends to promote the first products of the series at the 2019 European Coatings Show.
