WACKER Chemical Co., Ltd. is currently building a special unit production line with an annual capacity of 3,800 tons at its Berghausen site in Germany.
Wak Group has invested approximately EUR 8 million in this project, and special monosomes of ethylene vinyl vinyl ionate and vinyl laurelate are important raw materials for the production of special re-dispersable latex powders.The new production line is expected to start production in the second quarter of 2015, further cementing WACKER's position as the world's largest producer of re-dispersable latex powders.
