On October 10, the international academic journal Autophagy published online the "FLT4" the collaborative research results of Wang Hongyan's team from the Center for Excellence in Molecular Cell Science (Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wei Bin's team from Shanghai University and He Yulong's team from Soochow University.

The previous work of the researchers found that bacterially infected macrophages induced upregulate the expression of the surface receptor VEGFR3 (vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-3, also known as FLT4) and the corresponding ligand VEGFC ( Immunity 2014 Apr 17;40(4) :501-14)
