Wanhua Chemical Raises the Listing Price of Pure MDI

Recently, Wanhua Chemical announced that since March, the company will increase the listing price of pure MDI by 3,000 yuan (ton price, the same below) to 26,800 yuan

It is understood that MDI products have a certain periodicity.

From the perspective of supply and demand, the current supply-side news is currently unclear, coupled with the lack of follow-up of downstream demand, it is relatively rational for the industry to enter the market and buy goods.

In the medium and long term, GF Securities believes that the new MDI production capacity in 2022 will only be 50,000 tons/year in Covestro Shanghai and 400,000 tons/year in Wanhua Fujian, which will be put into operation at the end of the year.
