As the core of the second phase project of Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park-the megaton ethylene project, it is the first megaton ethylene project to land in Shandong Province, with a total investment of 16.
8 billion yuan, covering an area of 2,400 acres, and mainly building an annual output of 100 Ten thousand tons of ethylene plant, 450,000 tons of LLDPE plant, annual output of 400,000 tons of PVC plant, annual output of 150,000 tons of EO plant, annual output of 300,000 tons and 650,000 tons of PO/SM plant, annual output of 510,000 tons of butadiene plant and related supporting auxiliary projects.
The construction of the ethylene project is conducive to perfecting the integration of the polyurethane industry chain in Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park, helping to solve the raw materials ethylene oxide and propylene oxide needed in the production process of polyether polyol in the industrial park, and can consume by-products of the isocyanate industry chain HCL promotes the balanced development of the industry.
At the same time, the project also uses the most advanced technology in the world and the environmental protection PO/SM technology independently developed by Wanhua to build the highest-level domestic ethylene industry chain, fill the domestic gap, and break the foreign monopoly.
