Thea Fischer, a member of the International Expert Group for Research on the Traceability of the New Coronavirus of the World Health Organization and a professor at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, accepted an interview with the Danish "Political Newspaper" on the 22nd, criticizing some Western media for deliberately distorting reports on the expert group's recent exchanges on the traceability of the new coronavirus in Wuhan Cooperation, and pointed out that the results of the trip to Wuhan exceeded expectations.
Fischer refuted reports from Western media such as the US "New York Times" that "the original data cannot be obtained" in Wuhan.
Fischer said that the international expert group sat together with the Chinese experts, discussed important agendas, respected each other’s views and abilities, and achieved important results in a short period of time.
The New York Times published an article on the 12th of this month, claiming to quote the “statement” of WHO experts who recently went to Wuhan, claiming that China continues to refuse to release information about the early stage of the new crown outbreak, which makes it difficult for them to find important clues to curb such types in the future.
The international expert group sent by the WHO arrived in Wuhan on January 14 and formed a joint expert group with Chinese experts to jointly carry out the global traceability of the new crown virus in China.
