This season, especially just past the Spring Festival, oranges, sugar oranges this citrus fruit is basically the home gossip home when the necessary artifacts, absolute popularity burst!
, as a car without "feelings" and without "perception", even said it didn't like oranges, which... Why on earth?
's little editor, until I've finished listening to this wonderful web lesson...
    Why cars don't like
most customers require their cars to look mirror-like. This course highlights the additives Created provides to address this need and shows how they can help achieve the perfect finish.
the following is a wonderful summary of this webinar:
You can see an orange in the picture, very good-looking
    China
. But if you look closely at its surface, you'll see that it doesn't look very good. Usually, everyone doesn't like the surface of a car like this. If you buy a new car, you'll want its surface to look very smooth and shiny. That's why orange or orange peel surfaces don't match car paint.
explain in detail, I'll briefly describe the ideas behind products that improve the flow and leveling of automotive coatings.
, we have to talk about surfactants. Surfactants are additives that act on the surface and are usually composed of hydrophobic and hydrophobic groups, with the characteristics of migration to the interface or surface orientation. They are active on a variety of interfaces. Examples are the liquid/solid interface and the liquid/air interface. That's why we can use it for proper wetting of solid surfaces, or we can use the properties of its air/liquid interface to improve flow and leveling.
this characteristic depends in part on what we call surface stress.
what do we want? When spraying paint, surfactants are usually evenly distributed throughout the paint without affecting surface stress. It affects surface stress only if it is possible for surfactants to migrate to the surface. To do this, surfactants migrate quickly to the surface in order to quickly wet the surface or reach a fast leveling state. So what we want is a surfactant that can move relatively quickly to the interface.
do you think surfactants have the ability to migrate so quickly?
surface stress can be distinguished into dynamic and static surface stress. For example, the spraying process is a dynamic process, dynamic surface pressure should be low, in order to make the surfactant move quickly to the surface.
, fluorine-containing surfactants are very effective at static surface stress, but not on dynamic surface stress. Silane surfactants are more effective and have a wider range of applications, but their dynamic surface pressure is not low, and they are effective in medium or low dynamic processes. In high-dynamic processes, such as spray applications, this surfactant is not very effective. Traditional organic surfactants have good wetting properties and have medium dynamic and static surface stress. The well-known brand SURFYNOL® has a relatively low dynamic surface stress and is very good at wetting, but its leveling is not very good when static surface stress is taken into account.
this, we designed the Super Wet
    Agent DYNOL ® Series
column, which achieves a good balance between static surface and dynamic surface stress and is designed for hard-to-wet substrates such as Plastic surfaces (polypropylene) or contaminated metal surfaces, and the ability to move very quickly to the interface, function, and at the same time have good leveling, ideal for automotive coating wetting, flow and leveling, for smooth paint film effect.
addition, car original paints tend to reduce the thickness of varnishes, and they want to find ways to achieve optimum performance at a coating thickness of 30-40 m. This is also one of the effects that can be achieved with these super moisturizers, and they are also easy to apply to thinner coatings.
it's worth noting that when using super wetting agents, all coatings affect the end result. If the electrophoresis layer on the car is very poor, it is very difficult to achieve a high-quality coating in the end. You can use a variety of other techniques, but no matter what you do, the end result won't change. As a result, you can add the DYNOL ® series to the final paint, color paint, and varnish, all of which have a positive impact on the end result.
test data for the following practical application cases, you can log on to the official website to view the seminar details.
    .Water-specific single-group color
    .  Solvent-based single-group color
    .  Solvent-based single-part varnish
    solvent-based two-part varnish
Finally, to improve the wetting, flow and leveling of automotive coatings, our first recommendation is the super wetting agent
    DYNOL®960/980, DYNOL®607 or SURFYNOL®420.
960/980 ® 960/980, I said, they contain silica. Some customers do not like the use of silica-containing additives in primers and color paints, in which case you can also choose DYNOL®607 or SURFYNOL®420®SIL. It is important to keep in mind that although they are designed for water-based systems, they can also be used in solvent-based coatings. They are water-free and perform as well in solvent-based coatings as they do in water-based coatings. The recommended dosing is 0.1-1%. So far, our usage in tests has been 0.5%. If different doses are added to the actual use, the results may be different. But 0.5% usually works well.
