    Finnish technology company Wärtsilä recently completed a 130 MW gas-fired power plant
    in Mexico.
    Located in Monterrey, the plant operates seven Wärtsilä 50SG gas engines, each with an output of 18.

    Under a long-term power purchase agreement, it will supply electricity
    to major Asian car plants nearby.

    The natural gas-fueled plant was built in between 11 months and the signing of the contract to the commissioning of Pemcorp, Mexico's independent power producer, on behalf of Texas-based Arroyo Energy Investors
