Recently, the research group of Wu Pengyan, associate professor of School of chemistry and materials science, Jiangsu Normal University, and Susumu Kitagawa, Professor of Kyoto University, published a research paper entitled "carbondioxide capture and efficient fixation in a dynamic groups coordination polymer" in nature communications The first author is Associate Professor Wu Pengyan, the corresponding author is Associate Professor Wang Jian and Professor Susumu Kitagawa of Kyoto University This paper is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation and Jiangsu Normal University The use of fossil fuels has led to a sharp increase in carbon dioxide emissions, which has led to a series of environmental problems, such as greenhouse effect and climate change Therefore, how to convert carbon dioxide, the C1 raw material, into high value-added compounds economically is of great significance in production and life Porous coordination polymers (PCPs) are a kind of crystalline porous materials with high crystallinity, although they have become potential materials for carbon dioxide adsorption and catalytic conversion However, the thermochemical stability and kinetic inertness of carbon dioxide molecules make their heterogeneous catalytic conversion to high-value chemicals still a challenge Therefore, obtaining the crystal structure information of carbon dioxide molecules directly will help to realize the clear insight of the reaction mechanism of carbon dioxide fixation and the effective activation of carbon dioxide molecules In this paper, through the selection of propeller type ligands and coordination self-assembly with transition metal ions, a kind of locally flexible double through porous coordination polymer material was prepared The material can capture carbon dioxide molecules, and the structure of the carbon dioxide inclusion is analyzed by X-ray single crystal diffractometer The PCP has a good affinity for carbon dioxide and a specific pore restriction of the material It shows a high catalytic efficiency, good size selectivity and high catalyst recycling performance This research strategy provides new research ideas for the development of porous materials for the determination of gas molecular inclusion structure and the fixation of effective C1 resources.
