Recently , international academic journalsVirusEvolutio the n- published online in the State Key Laboratory of Virologylatest research results of the study group Wu Ying, the paper entitled Tick virome Diversity in Hubei Province, China, and at The Influence of Host Ecology ( " Hubei tick virus group Characteristics and relationship with host ecology ")
Ticks are one of the main blood-sucking parasites in vertebrates.
Wu Ying's research group at the State Key Laboratory of Virology of Wuhan University , in cooperation with the team of Shi Weifeng, School of Public Health, Shandong First Medical University, and the team of Zhan Jianbo, Hubei Center for Disease Control and Prevention, have reported or reoccurred viral tick transmission in northern Hubei Province A large number of biological samples of Haemaphysalis longhorned ticks and Rhipicephalus miniature were collected in areas with diseases ( including fever with syndrome and Nairobi sheep disease ) .
