In the face of the challenge of global environmental risks, all countries are a community of destiny in the same boat, unilateralism is unpopular, and working together is the right way. We should firmly safeguard the international system with the United Nations as its core, safeguard the dignity and authority of international rules, and raise the level of global environmental governance.
third is to maintain green development and foster high-quality economic recovery after the epidemic. We should take a long-term view, maintain a fixed force, adhere to green, inclusive and sustainable development. We should look for development opportunities from the protection of nature, and realize the win-win situation of ecological environment protection and high-quality economic development.

Niney per cent of terrestrial ecosystem types and 85 per cent of priority wildlife populations are effectively protected. China has actively participated in global environmental governance, earnestly fulfilled its environmental-related treaty obligations, such as climate change and biodiversity, and has ahead of schedule to meet the 2020 targets for addressing climate change and establishing nature reserves. China will uphold the concept of a community of human destiny, be willing to shoulder international responsibilities that are in keeping with China's level of development, increase its national self-contribution, adopt stronger policies and measures, strive to peak carbon dioxide emissions by 2030, strive to achieve carbon-indesse by 2060, and make greater efforts and contributions to achieve the goals set out in the Paris Agreement on climate change.concluded by stressing that China will host the fifteenth Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity in Kunming next year, and I welcome you to come together in Kunming next year to discuss the global biodiversity conservation plan.
