    Sinochem News from Xiamen University announced that recently, the research team of Professor Li Jianfeng from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Professor Pan Feng's team from Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School revealed the configuration of water molecules at the interface of palladium single crystal electrodes and their hydrogen evolution reaction.


    In the field of renewable energy science, water molecules are directly involved in many important electrocatalytic reactions


    The research team used in-situ surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy to monitor the configuration and dynamic changes of water molecules at the palladium single crystal electrode/solution interface during the electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction


    Studies have found that under the synergistic effect of cations and electrode potentials, disordered water molecules are arranged into a more orderly special structure.
