Xianyang implements a "daily report" inspection system for imported cold chain foods

On January 12, the reporter learned from the Shaanxi Provincial Market Supervision Bureau: In order to further strengthen the risk prevention and control of imported cold chain foods, the Xianyang Municipal Market Supervision Bureau will implement imported cold chains in meat production enterprises and small workshops in the city from January 6th.

The Xianyang Municipal Market Supervision Bureau requires that meat production companies and small workshops within its jurisdiction should report the number of self-built and self-provided cold storages and third-party cold storages that provide frozen and cold storage services and the types, quantities, and sources of cold chain foods in the warehouses.

At the same time, the bureau also organizes law enforcement personnel to strengthen patrol inspections, focusing on checking whether meat production companies and small workshops have formulated epidemic prevention and control guidelines, whether cold storage and employees have implemented sanitary and epidemic prevention measures such as cleaning, disinfection, and personal protection, and whether there are sanitary corners.
