On September 9, Yangzhou City held a meeting
on the supply and demand docking of new energy buses in Jiangsu Province.
This year, Yangzhou will promote 700 new energy buses

Last year, Yangzhou promoted a total of 325 new energy buses, and this year it plans to double it, bringing the city's total to more than 1,000

Geng Jiangbo, Director of the Automotive Industry Division of Yangzhou Economic and Information Commission, said: "Last year, the city took the lead in promoting 325 new energy buses
in the field of urban public transport.
Among them, the Municipal Bus Group needed to update a total of 314 vehicles last year, all of which were new energy buses, and are now running
on 18 bus demonstration lines in the main urban area.
This year, the total number of new energy vehicles promoted in our city is more than
800.
At present, 200 new energy vehicles have been newly licensed in the city, and 670 public sector vehicles are being tendered for procurement
.
From January to August, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in the city were 1,851 and 1,723 respectively, an increase of nearly 50 times
over the same period last year.
The 700 new energy buses are specifically allocated as follows: Yangzhou City, Baoying County, Jiangdu District, and Yizheng City
.
Among them, Yangzhou Bus Group received the most shares, with 370 vehicles
.
