On the morning of December 28 , relevant leaders from Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation, Provincial Maritime Safety Administration, Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, Municipal Transportation Bureau, and Municipal Maritime Safety Administration gathered at Yangzi Petrochemical to hold five cabin washing stations on the Yangtze River Main Line (Jiangsu Section).
On the morning of December 28 , relevant leaders from Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation, Provincial Maritime Safety Administration, Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, Municipal Transportation Bureau, and Municipal Maritime Safety Administration gathered at Yangzi Petrochemical to hold five cabin washing stations on the Yangtze River Main Line (Jiangsu Section).
In order to ensure product quality during the shipping process of chemical ships, it is necessary to wash the cabins when the shipping varieties are changed or there are impurities deposits in the cabins.
The project is mainly composed of four parts: tank washing station wharf, oil and gas treatment, tank washing water treatment and supporting facilities.
"The construction of the Yangtze River Ship Washing Station is a practical action to implement Xi Jinping’s thoughts on ecological civilization, strengthen the ecological protection of the Yangtze River, and promote the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
At the press conference, Yangzi Petrochemical reported that all tank washing operations at the Yangzi tank washing station are ready, and an acetic acid ship "Xinhui 68 " to be washed has been docked at the Yangzi 18# washing barge berth, and is equipped with washing conditions.
The Department of Transportation of Jiangsu Province requires all relevant units to resolutely implement the instructional spirit of “to protect together and not engage in large-scale development”, to improve the management system of tank washing operations, to implement the requirements of “washing as much as possible”, to achieve sustainable development, and to bring the Yangtze River economic belt Build into a golden economic belt with more beautiful ecology, smoother traffic, more coordinated economy, more unified market, and more scientific economy.
