The successful resumption of production of Yanshan Petrochemical's lubricating oil hydrogenation unit is a major move of the company to revitalize its stock assets and implement the "oil-to-special" transformation.

Yanshan Petrochemical’s lubricating oil hydrogenation unit was completed on May 30, 2013.

In recent years, with the rapid growth of the domestic automobile industry, construction machinery, power, steel, and machine tool industries, and the continuous improvement of equipment and technology, the domestic demand for special oil has continued to grow, and China has become the world's second largest lubricant market

Starting from April 2020, Yanshan Petrochemical has been actively improving the safety, environmental protection and compliance of its lubricating oil hydrogenation unit, and officially entered the start-up phase on August 16 this year

It is very difficult for Yanshan Petrochemical's lubricating oil hydrogenation plant to realize the whole process start-up

In order to ensure the success of the first drive, Yanshan Petrochemical organized technical backbones to study on-site lubricant hydrogenation installations in brother companies, and hired foreign technical experts twice to teach online
