    Kazakhstan News Agency/Nur-Sultan/July 13 -- According to the Atameken Business Network, from January to May this year, the production of low- alcohol beverages in Kazakhstan decreased compared with the same period last ye.
    Beer production fell 4% to 279 million litres, natural wine production fell 22% to 18 million litres and production of liqueurs and other similar alcoholic beverages fell 1% to 927,900 litr.
     
    Meanwhile, the situation in the spirits sector is completely differe.
    Compared to the same period last year, production of vodka increased by 3 times to 21 million liters, and production of cognac increased by 26% to 9 million lite.
