Yinchuan "Double Carbon" Research Center was inaugurated

On June 22, the Yinchuan "Double Carbon" Research Center was officially unveiled at Ningxia University

The research center will strengthen cooperation with colleges and universities, scientific research institutes and domestic institutions in related fields inside and outside the district, explore "production-university-research" synergy and multi-disciplinary cross-integration, cultivate a team of interdisciplinary professionals, and provide high-quality carbon neutralization work.

The center will also build a school-local-enterprise cooperation and exchange platform in accordance with the model of "university scientific research institutes + key enterprises + industry departments + talent departments", provide decision-making consulting services for Yinchuan's "dual carbon" work, and provide technical support for green transformation and upgrading of enterprises

In addition, the center has established a mechanism of "revelation and leadership", and the first batch of 10 "revelation and leadership" demand lists have been released, focusing on the research on carbon sources and carbon pools in Yinchuan, carbon emission enterprise data thorough investigation, establishment of historical carbon emission database, coal Clean and efficient utilization, high-quality development of clean energy industry, replacement of green hydrogen energy industry, low-carbon technology upgrading and transformation of key emission reduction enterprises, etc.
