.Under the agreement, the
, the two sides will work together in marketing, supplying and purchasing

and related industrial coatings, and as the ultimate goal of both parties, the two companies may consider establishing a joint venture.
CMP has become one of the market leaders in Asia with its unique marine coatings as its core product since its founding in 1917.
this alliance with Berger Coatings of India, CMP is expected to achieve full development in the Indian market, which the company considers to be another core growth market after China. According to Masataka Uetake, President and CEO of CMP, the company looks forward to building this partnership to become a major supplier of marine coatings in India and the surrounding region.

Paint Bergers last month built a production plant for automobiles and general industrial coatings in Jejuri, near Pune (Maharashtra). The company plans to increase the capacity of the new plant from the current 4.8 million litres per year to 24 million litres a year.
