Content Introduction Chinese Abstract: Objective: To investigate the relationship between abnormal bile acid metabolism and adverse pregnancy outcomes of gestational diabetes.

Innovation: For the first time, high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS) was used to detect abnormal changes in serum bile acid profiles of patients with gestational diabetes (GDM) during oral glucose tolerance (OGTT) screening, by combining differential bile acids The spectrum and delivery methods, gestational weeks of delivery and birth weight of fetuses in patients with GDM are expected to provide a scientific basis for predicting adverse pregnancy outcomes caused by GDM.

Methods: This study conducted a retrospective analysis of GDM patients screened from May 2019 to October 2019 in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, and included OGTT screening according to the GDM diagnostic criteria published by the International Diabetes and Pregnancy Research Group During the investigation, there were 67 GDM patients and 48 normal pregnancy control group.

Collect the subjects' fasting state and serum 1 and 2 hours after taking sugar to detect blood glucose and insulin levels, and calculate the insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR), islet cell function index (HOMA-β), and insulin secretion index in GDM patients and the control group 、Insulin sensitivity index, calculate β-cell compensation function (DIo) by using Stumvoll?rst-phase estimate×insulin sensitivity index, and use LC-MS to detect fasting bile acid metabolism spectrum of the subject to study bile acid The correlation between changes in metabolism and the above indicators.

The clinical data of the two groups were collected, including basic data and delivery methods, gestational age at delivery, and fetal birth weight, and the correlation between differential bile acids and adverse pregnancy outcomes was analyzed.

Conclusion: Glycine-conjugated deoxycholic acid (GDCA) can be used as an effective indicator to evaluate HOMA-IR and DIo.
At the same time, a decrease in GDCA can indicate adverse pregnancy outcomes in GDM patients.Group Keywords: Gestational diabetes mellitus; bile acid; insulin resistance; compensation of beta] cells: Bo ZHU, Zhixin MA, Yuning ZHU, Lei FANG, Hong ZHANG, Hongwei KONG, Dajing XIA herein by reference Format: Bo ZHU, Zhixin MA, Yuning ZHU, Lei FANG, Hong ZHANG, Hongwei KONG, Dajing XIA, 2021.
Reduced glycodeoxycholic acid levels are associated with negative clinical outcomes of gestational diabetes mellitus.
