    On July 10, 2021, the Zhu Xinguang research group of the Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences published a research paper entitled "Canopy occupation volume as an indicator of canopy photosynthetic capacity" in the international academic journal New Phytologist
