With the return of workplace activity, recovery of events and sports competitions, and continued outsourcing demand from healthcare and education institutions—all anchored in physical locations—Compass Group enjoyed favorable tailwinds. Moreover, it retained some pricing power amid inflation, achieving a 9.7% revenue increase last year. Notably, Brazil’s JBS surged to #1 in this sector, climbing from #167 to #146, with revenue rising from USD 77.18 billion to USD 86.18 billion (a ~11.7% increase), overtaking ADM to become the highest-revenue firm in this category. Additionally, midstream players posted notable gains. Bunge leapt dramatically—from #279 to #196—with revenue climbing from USD 53.11 billion to USD 70.33 billion—the most impressive improvement of all, bringing it very close to Wilmar International. Olam Group advanced from #369 to #302, with revenue up ~22.5%.
