Google and RWE Back German Nuclear Startup Proxima Fusion at €2.4 Billion Valuation

German startup Proxima Fusion secured €411 million in funding led by Google and RWE, achieving a €2.4 billion valuation to build a nuclear fusion facility in Bavaria. The company plans to operationalize its stellarator-based technology by the 2030s.
