AI computing power demand continues to surge, and Foxconn Industrial Internet delivered outstanding financial results for the first quarter of 2026. In Q1 2026, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB 251.078 billion, an increase of 56.52% year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company amounted to RMB 10.595 billion, up 102.55% year-on-year. Net profit after deducting non-recurring gains and losses stood at RMB 10.25 billion, representing a 109.05% year-on-year increase—indicating that growth was primarily driven by core business operations. Cash flow also improved significantly. Net cash provided by operating activities totaled RMB 25.024 billion in Q1, compared to RMB 1.299 billion in the same period last year. Cash received from sales of goods reached RMB 262.381 billion, showing substantial year-on-year growth. Basic earnings per share rose from RMB 0.26 in the prior-year period to RMB 0.53. From a business-structure perspective, the cloud computing segment served as the primary growth driver this quarter. Revenue from cloud computing services doubled year-on-year; AI GPU rack shipments surged 3.8-fold, while AI ASIC server shipments increased 3.2-fold. Cloud Computing: Segment revenue doubled; AI server shipments grew over threefold In terms of shipment volume, AI GPU racks increased 3.8-fold year-on-year, and AI ASIC servers rose 3.2-fold year-on-year. These figures reflect sustained high capital expenditure by global cloud service providers in AI infrastructure. Notably, during the reporting period, certain cloud service provider customers shifted their raw material procurement model for new orders from buyout to consignment. Under this model, customers procure raw materials themselves and entrust Foxconn Industrial Internet with manufacturing; consequently, the company’s reported revenue (excluding material value) narrowed, yet gross margin benefited positively. This structural shift is a critical premise for understanding the relationship between the company’s revenue and profitability. Communications & Networking Equipment: High-speed switches ramp up; CPO prototype units shipped The communications and mobile networking equipment business also maintained growth this quarter. Shipments of 800G-and-above high-speed switches rose 1.6-fold year-on-year and 46% quarter-on-quarter. More strategically significant is the commencement of shipments for CPO (co-packaged optics) all-optical switch prototypes this quarter. Widely regarded as a key evolutionary direction for high-density interconnects in AI data centers, prototype shipments mark the transition of related products from R&D into commercialization. Regarding R&D investment, R&D expenses for the quarter totaled RMB 2.336 billion, up approximately 4% year-on-year.
