SpaceX Space-Based Photovoltaics, Tesla Robots, Boeing, Apple, etc.: Trump’s Visit to China Trump will visit China from May 13–15. The two sides plan to discuss establishing a U.S.-China Trade Council, a U.S.-China Investment Council, and cooperation in aviation, agriculture, energy, and other sectors. Heterojunction Solar Cells: China to Launch 200,000 Satellites According to a post by CCTV News on Weibo, China plans to build its own satellite internet infrastructure, requiring the launch of 200,000 satellites. The Chinese Space Station received a 768-kilogram cargo delivery via the Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft, which carried 67 scientific research items—including flexible monocrystalline silicon heterojunction solar cells. These solar cells were launched into space to undergo real-world testing under extreme conditions—intense heat, extreme cold, radiation, and atomic oxygen—and will later be returned to Earth for performance analysis and iterative improvement. This lightweight yet highly efficient flexible solar panel is precisely the “power heart” needed for future large-scale satellite networks.
