Leading Paint Companies in China and Abroad That Simply Cannot Be Overlooked

Luo Biao candidly admitted, 'Starting in 2016, Tiger Powder Coatings vigorously expanded into the development and application of new materials in water-based industrial coatings, industrial digital printing, and solar power generation—achieving two major transformations within three years: first from Tiger Powder Coatings to Tiger Coatings, then from Tiger Coatings to Tiger Surface Technologies New Materials.' Breaking free from traditional mindsets, boldly crossing industry boundaries, and transitioning toward digitalization, the company achieved a leap forward amid transformation and upgrading. 'The market is not short of products—but it lacks innovative ones. The Chinese powder coating market continues to grow steadily; in its ten-year strategic plan (2019–2028), Tiger explicitly aims to become the industry’s R&D hub, making coating processes simpler and cleaner,' Luo Biao stated. Nippon Paint: Stabilizing the Market Through Expanded Production Capacity Nippon Paint China belongs to Singapore-based Nipsea Group. As one of Asia-Pacific’s leading paint manufacturers, Nippon Paint operates across diverse sectors including architectural coatings, automotive coatings, general industrial coatings, coil coatings, and powder coatings. Its 2019 consolidated financial report showed annual sales revenue of ¥692.009 billion JPY (approximately USD 6.337 billion), representing a 10.3% year-on-year increase. In 2019, Nippon Paint (China) launched five new factories in rapid succession: the Jinan factory in April, Chengdu factory in June, Kunming factory in July, and Qingyuan (Guangdong) factory in October—culminating on November 30 with the official opening of Nippon Paint (Henan) Co., Ltd. This 'five-factory-in-one-year' initiative concluded with Nippon Paint implementing its standardized construction model to build a responsive, service-oriented supply chain. This significantly shortened transportation radii, broadened market coverage, and established a high-quality service platform—maintaining comprehensive leadership across its coating systems. This marks a pivotal component of Nippon Paint Group’s long-term strategic vision for China—and serves as a milestone ushering in a new chapter for its next decade of growth in the Chinese market. Special Column | Introduction to the 'Sensory–Psychomotor' Assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder

Let us begin by reviewing the French Ministry of Health’s 2018 National Autism Health Plan, which outlines best-practice recommendations for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) intervention across multiple tiers: First Tier—Identification and Early Warning Signs 1. Early childhood education professionals (e.g., nannies, daycare assistants, preschool educators, special education teachers) 2. National education professionals (e.g., teachers, school nurses, national educational psychologists and physicians) 3. Healthcare professionals working in private practice or public health services (e.g., maternal and child health centers, multidisciplinary health centers), especially general practitioners and pediatricians 4. Allied healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, infant nurses, speech-language therapists, psychomotor rehabilitation therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, optometrists) and psychologists Second Tier—Diagnosis and Functional Assessment Conducted by coordinated, multidisciplinary teams composed of specialists trained specifically in neurodevelopmental disorders and ASD—including child psychiatry teams (e.g., child and adolescent psychiatry departments, Child Mental Health Centers [CMP], pediatrics, Early Medical and Social Intervention Centers [CAMSP], and Child Mental Health Education Centers [CMPP]), dedicated ASD diagnostic and assessment networks, or private practitioners coordinated by physicians—including otolaryngologists (ORL) and ophthalmologists (OPH) Third Tier—Comprehensive Diagnosis and Functional Assessment Conducted by specialists working at Autism Resource Centers or hospital-based specialized medical consultation centers—particularly experts in pediatric neurology, clinical genetics, and medical imaging These recommendations not only illuminate France’s macro-level deployment of ASD interventions but also clearly demonstrate how psychomotor rehabilitation therapists can actively participate across all three tiers—in both diagnosis and treatment. Sensory Abnormalities in Children with Autism Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects sensory–psychomotor development early in life. These functions constitute the earliest developmental capacities—the foundational prerequisites for subsequent growth and maturation. Identifying early signs of dysfunction, measuring their severity, and evaluating their lifelong functional impact are therefore critical. This naturally positions psychomotor rehabilitation therapists as one of the optimal professionals for ASD intervention. Indeed, beyond the well-known features of ASD—such as social communication deficits and restricted, repetitive interests and behaviors—the most prominent characteristic is abnormal sensory processing and integration. Research findings vary: 69% to 95% of individuals with ASD exhibit sensory abnormalities. The prevalence of sensory abnormalities in autistic individuals exceeds that observed in the general population and in other neurodevelopmental disorders. Moreover, the severity of sensory abnormalities correlates positively with overall ASD symptom severity—and negatively with developmental age. Children with autism experience impaired sensory modulation, characterized by: • Unimodal Processing: Focusing exclusively on a single sensory modality while struggling to integrate multiple modalities simultaneously • Susceptibility to Sensory Overload: Due to deficient regulation or cross-modal processing, unprocessed stimuli accumulate continuously This leads to fragmented perception: attention to detail at the expense of the whole, isolated-element perception lacking holistic coherence—and thus an inability to assign symbolic meaning.
