Saudi Arabia Qassim 1,800 MW Combined-Cycle Power Plant Project Shandong Electric Power Construction Corporation III won the EPC contract for the Saudi Qassim project. The project involves constructing a new 1,800-MW combined-cycle power plant located in central Saudi Arabia, utilizing H-class gas turbines—comprising one triple-shaft combined-cycle unit plus one single-shaft gas turbine unit. 42. India Adani 460,000-Ton-Per-Year Acetylene Project Chengda Company of China Chemical Engineering undertook the India Adani 460,000-ton-per-year acetylene project under a technology licensing + EPCm model. This marks Chengda’s first entry into the Indian market and the first large-scale calcium carbide-based acetylene project undertaken abroad by a Chinese engineering contractor—achieving dual breakthroughs in both new overseas markets and new product offerings. Chengda exported its proprietary calcium carbide-based acetylene technology and patented equipment overseas for the first time. Upon completion, the facility will become the world’s largest and most digitally advanced acetylene plant, fully demonstrating Chengda’s leading position in calcium carbide-based acetylene engineering technology both domestically and internationally. 43. Saudi Aramco Amiral Package 1 Mixed Cracking and Off-Gas Treatment Project China Chemical Engineering Eleventh Construction Co., Ltd. signed the Saudi Aramco Amiral Package 1 mixed cracking and off-gas treatment project contract with Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd.’s Saudi branch. The project is located in Jubail II Industrial City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, forming part of the 1.65-million-ton-per-year ethylene chemical industrial complex built upon the SATORP refinery. It includes construction work for process units, flare systems, and ethylene storage tanks. The contract value amounts to RMB 1.976 billion. 44. Saudi Aramco Jafurah Gas Field Riyas LNG Fractionation Unit Project Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering signed the EPC turnkey contract for the Saudi Aramco Jafurah Gas Field Riyas LNG fractionation unit, valued at USD 3.35 billion, of which Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering’s share totals USD 1.17 billion. The project is located in the Riyas area of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. Its main scope includes two 255,000-barrel-per-day natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionation units and associated system units. Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering, representing the Refining & Chemical Engineering Group, formed a joint venture with Spain’s TR Company to execute the project. Following the contract’s effective date in late October 2023, both parties commenced implementation simultaneously in Madrid, Guangzhou, and Beijing. The project is currently progressing steadily. 45. Morocco OCP Group Jorf Lasfar 4 × 150,000-Ton-Per-Year Phosphoric Acid Concentration Project The phosphoric acid concentration unit at the OCP Group’s Jorf Lasfar site in Morocco employs the wet-process phosphoric acid concentration technology independently developed and owned by China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd., constructed under a Technology + EPC model. This represents the first collaboration between the OCP Group and a Chinese engineering contractor on a chemical process unit project. 46. Turkey Mesan PDH-PP Project Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Chemical Engineering, signed the Turkey Mesan PDH-PP project contract, valued at RMB 1.656 billion.

Turkmenistan Bagtyyarlyk Contract Area B Block Gas Field Project In May 2021, CNPC’s Turkmenistan Branch won the EPCC contract for the western gas field surface facilities in the Bagtyyarlyk Contract Area B Block. The gas field’s designed annual production capacity is 1.815 billion cubic meters, with a contract duration of 24 months. Major works include 22 single-well stations and associated gas gathering pipelines, four gas gathering stations along with branch and trunk gathering lines, purified gas export pipelines, expansion and renovation of the First Processing Plant and export station, as well as public utility infrastructure. In November 2023, CNPC (Turkmenistan) Amu Darya Natural Gas Company secured the EPCC contract for the natural gas compression facility in the central gas field of the Bagtyyarlyk Contract Area B Block. Key scopes include: construction of a new compression facility (encompassing natural gas separation, compression, air cooling, and hydrocarbon liquid collection), retrofitting of the Second Natural Gas Processing Plant’s gas gathering facility, renovation of the Kirsan Gas Gathering Station, and related public utilities and supporting works. Mechanical completion is scheduled in two phases, with final completion targeted for June 2027. In March 2025, CPECC successfully won the EPCC contract for Phase I of the Eastern Third Phase Surface Facilities Project in the Bagtyyarlyk Contract Area, with a contract duration of 19 months. Main scopes include: construction of a 114.62-kilometer duplicate gas gathering trunk line, five pipeline valve stations, one dehydration unit, one control and dispatch center, pre-treatment plant for the eastern gas field, expansion and renovation of the gas gathering facility at the Second Natural Gas Processing Plant, as well as general layout, civil construction, thermal engineering, automatic control, corrosion protection and insulation, telecommunications, HVAC, water supply and drainage, and other supporting infrastructure. Upon completion, the Bagtyyarlyk Contract Area’s natural gas processing capacity will increase by 4.8 million cubic meters per day. 4. Iraq SIBA Gas Field Operations Center Project China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. signed a FEED design services contract for the Iraq SIBA Gas Field Operations Center with Kuwait Energy Iraq Limited. The SIBA gas field is located approximately 30 kilometers southeast of Basra, Iraq. Services cover geological surveying, overall site layout planning, feasibility study report preparation, architectural and functional zoning design, investment estimation, and full-scope front-end engineering and design consulting services. 5. Mozambique LNG Project China Nuclear Industry Huaxing Construction Co., Ltd. signed a civil construction contract for the Mozambique LNG project with Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CB&I). 6. Oman MARSA LNG Project China Chemical Engineering Third Construction Co., Ltd. won the general contracting contract for civil construction of the first phase of the Oman MARSA LNG project. The project is located at Sohar Port, Oman. With an investment of USD 1.6 billion, the completed facility will serve passing vessels and cover the entire Middle East and Indian Ocean shipping routes. 7.
