What specific demands did the U.S. make in its latest response to Iran’s proposed negotiation agenda, according to Iranian media?

According to the Fars news agency, the U.S. presented a five-point list that included a demand for Iran to operate only one nuclear site and transfer its stockpile of highly enriched uranium to the United States; it also refused to release even 25 percent of Iran’s frozen assets abroad or pay reparations for war damage.

Why have U.S.–Iran peace negotiations stalled since the April 8 truce, based on the reporting in the article?

Negotiations have stalled because the U.S. offered no tangible concessions—rejecting Iran’s core demands—while insisting on major Iranian concessions, including nuclear restrictions and asset transfers, leading Iranian media like Mehr to state that Washington ‘wants to obtain concessions that it failed to obtain during the war,’ resulting in an impasse.
