US Stepan to close New Jersey surfactants site; decommission other assets by mid-2026

Stepan will close its New Jersey surfactants site and decommission US and UK assets by mid-2026 due to lower demand and high costs. Production will consolidate into more efficient facilities, including a new Texas plant, under its cost-cutting program.
